This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or ask for a makeover, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Brandvue Studio is a trading name of OEB Business LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17170588).
Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom
Email: elvis@brandvuestudio.com
OEB Business LTD is the controller of your personal information. If you have a question about this policy or your information, email elvis@brandvuestudio.com.
2. What we collect
- What you give us in the form: your name, your business name, email address and mobile number.
- What you send for your makeover: photos, logos, text, business details (services, prices, hours, locations) and any account access you choose to give us.
- Messages: emails, texts and calls between you and us.
- Billing: if you keep your makeover, our payment provider handles your card details. We see limited information such as your billing name, the last four digits of your card and your payment history.
- Website use: Meta’s pixel collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, your browser and device, and your IP address. In the UK, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Quebec it only runs if you accept marketing cookies. Elsewhere it runs when you visit. See our Cookie Policy.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as IP addresses and request times, to keep the site secure and working.
3. How we use it, and our legal reasons
We don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Marketing messages
After you ask for a makeover, we may email or text you about it and about our service. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text or email elvis@brandvuestudio.com to stop them. Messages about a makeover you’ve asked for or a plan you’re on aren’t marketing, so they continue while you’re a customer.
5. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who work for us: website hosting, email and messaging, form and file storage, payment processing, and accounting. They can only use it to provide their services to us.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Meta Platforms, Inc.: when the pixel runs (see our Cookie Policy), Meta receives information from its pixel on our website. Meta uses it under its own privacy policy as well as for us.
- Google and Meta, for your profiles: when we update your Google, Facebook or Instagram profiles, the information we publish goes to those platforms.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, when we need their help.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer of all or part of our business, who would have to treat your information in line with this policy.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers, and Meta, process information outside the UK, including in the United States. When that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
- If you don’t keep your makeover: we delete your details, photos and makeover within 12 months of sending it, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- If you’re a customer: we keep your information while you’re on a plan. We keep billing and accounting records for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK law requires, and delete the rest within 12 months of your plan ending.
- Meta pixel data: see our Cookie Policy.
8. Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted connections. When you give us access to your accounts, we only use it to deliver the service, and you can remove it at any time.
9. Your rights
Because we’re a UK company, UK data protection law applies to how we handle your information wherever you are. You have the right to:
- get a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it’s wrong;
- have it deleted;
- restrict how we use it;
- object to how we use it, including stopping marketing at any time;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our website.
Your right to object to targeted ads. Wherever you are, you can object at any time to us using your information for targeted advertising, including through Meta’s pixel. Use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page of our website and click Reject; the pixel stops straight away and stays off in that browser. You can also email elvis@brandvuestudio.com.
To use any of these rights, email elvis@brandvuestudio.com. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. If you’re in the United States
We don’t sell personal information for money. Meta’s pixel runs on our website to measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. You can opt out at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our website. You can also control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at aboutads.info. Depending on your state, you may also have the right to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you; email elvis@brandvuestudio.com to make a request. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
11. If you’re in Canada
Outside Quebec, Meta’s pixel runs when you arrive so we can measure and personalize our ads, and we tell you on your first visit. You can opt out at any time with the notice’s Opt out link or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our website. It stops straight away and stays off in that browser. In Quebec, the pixel only runs if you accept. To ask about or access the personal information we hold about you, email elvis@brandvuestudio.com.
12. Children
Our service is for businesses, and our website isn’t meant for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we’ll tell customers by email.
